About Me
I am a Delhi-based psychotherapist and rehabilitation psychology practitioner with experience across clinical care, rehabilitation settings, community outreach, and private practice. I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Amity University and a PG Diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling from the National Institute of Professional Promotion Skills. I have completed an RCI-licensed PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology. My work focuses on providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based psychological support to individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, academic pressure, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, addiction-related concerns, trauma, identity exploration, and rehabilitation-related challenges. My experience spans hospitals, rehabilitation centres, correctional settings, and community mental health spaces, where I have supported individuals through psychological assessments, counselling, psychoeducation, and therapeutic interventions. I strongly believe in making mental health care accessible, inclusive, and affirming for all individuals, including LGBTQ+ communities and underserved populations.
Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach primarily integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, and client-centred therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness-based, rehabilitation-focused, play-based, and eclectic therapeutic techniques depending on each client’s needs and goals. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
For me, therapy is not only about reducing distress but also about building self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful coping strategies that continue beyond sessions. I view the therapeutic process as collaborative and growth-oriented, helping individuals better understand themselves, navigate challenges with greater clarity, and move toward healthier and more fulfilling lives.
